How likely is Conflict? High & Low Styles Part 2

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately on how the high & lows within each style communicate with each other. I’m also asked about how two of the same style are likely to communicate.

Last week we looked at Compliance.

Now it’s time for Steadiness: how one handles pace & change.

High S – High S
High S – Low S
Low S – Low S
  • They will get along great as both are very patient and share a need to serve.
  • They have a strong need to finish what they start and will prefer a predictable and steady environment.
  • This is a slower pace style trying to manage with a faster pace.
  • The High S will need to pick up the pace when communicating with the Low S, covering only high points and striving to be more direct.
  • Two low Ss share a need for speed. They share a strong need to be spontaneous and very adaptable to change.
  • They will value each other’s drive and appreciation for handling a wide scope of activitiessimultaneously.
Conflict unlikely Conflict likely Conflict unlikely

What else can create a symbiotic relationship or have the potential to create conflict?
